On January 21, U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled Stargate, a joint venture aimed at investing up to $500 billion in artificial intelligence infrastructure. The project involves OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank.

According to the White House, Stargate will build data centers and energy facilities in Texas to support AI development. Initial investments will total $100 billion, potentially growing fivefold.

“This is big money and high-quality people,” Trump said, emphasizing the project as a sign of faith in America’s potential.

Trump was joined by Masayoshi Son, Sam Altman, and Larry Ellison at the White House. Ellison highlighted the project’s role in personalized medicine, including vaccine development.
