Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal for a 30-day ceasefire on the frontline has caused a lot of international discussion. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the proposal as "manipulative" and "expected". Zelensky's reaction to Putin's proposal

Russian President Vladimir Putin, however, stressed that the 30-day ceasefire regime will be implemented only if it can lead to long-term peace. In his opinion, Ukraine can use the ceasefire period to receive new weapons and regroup its army.
"We have agreed to the proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine, but it must lead to a real and lasting peace. If Kiev uses the 30 days to try to accumulate new weapons and forces, this process will lose its meaning," Putin said.

The United States proposed a 30-day ceasefire during talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian side agreed to this, but Russia said that it was necessary to discuss how this process would be implemented.
