WHO: A new pandemic could begin as soon as tomorrow

A new pandemic could begin as soon as “tomorrow,” uz24.uz reported, quoting World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

He emphasized that to effectively combat future epidemics and pandemics, countries around the world must agree on a global treaty.

According to Ghebreyesus, such an agreement would help improve data sharing, resource distribution, and coordinated emergency preparedness at the international level.
