A substance that acts as a natural "shield" against allergies has been identified - news from Japanese scientists!

Scientists at the University of Tokyo announced that they have identified a natural substance that fights allergies. This substance is called kaempferol and is found in products such as spinach, broccoli, red-skinned apples, green tea, cabbage and beans. The results of the study were published in the journal Allergy.
What does kaempferol do?
In an experiment conducted on mice, scientists found that kaempferol reduced the reaction to food allergies, in particular to egg white. In mice that received the substance, diarrhea stopped, body temperature decreased and sensitivity to allergens was significantly reduced.
This flavonoid increases the production of the enzyme RALDH2 in the body. It regulates the immune system, reduces inflammation and suppresses allergic reactions.
Opens the way to natural prevention
Professor Chiharu Nishiyama claims that regular consumption of products rich in kaempferol can help relieve allergy symptoms. At the same time, there is a possibility of positive results in autoimmune diseases.
Although the research has been conducted on animals so far, scientists plan to conduct clinical trials on humans in the near future.
Advice from experts
Doctors recommend that people prone to allergies include vegetables and fruits rich in kaempferol in their daily diet. Such products help not only with allergies, but also strengthen overall immunity.
