
The Maldives has officially banned Israeli citizens from entering the country, reports Korrespondent.net, citing Reuters.
On April 16, President Mohamed Muizzu ratified changes to the immigration law following parliamentary approval. The move comes in response to what the government described as “ongoing atrocities and acts of genocide by Israel against the Palestinian people” during the Gaza conflict.
The president's office stated that this decision reflects the Maldives' strong stance in support of Palestine.
