A pregnant woman in the US state of North Carolina turned to artificial intelligence — ChatGPT — after noticing a strange symptom in her health. The recommendations she received saved not only her life, but also the life of her unborn child, writes “Pravila zhizni” with reference to Motherly.
Natalia Therrien was in the last — eighth — month of pregnancy. One day, she suddenly felt that her jaw muscles were tense and she could not open her mouth. Not considering the situation serious, she asked ChatGPT: “Why can’t I move my jaw?”
In response, ChatGPT recommended checking her blood pressure. Natalia acted without haste - and the result was amazing: her blood pressure was significantly higher than normal, so the artificial intelligence advised her to immediately call an ambulance.
In the hospital, the situation was assessed as very dangerous - the woman's blood pressure had risen to 200/146. In order to resolve the situation without delay, the doctors decided to deliver the baby prematurely. If Terrien had gone to bed that night, according to the doctors, she would probably have suddenly lost consciousness or not woken up.
Now the mother and child are healthy, everything turned out well.
Natalia shared this story on Instagram. Her post, "ChatGPT saved my life," was seen by millions of people, widely shared on social networks and supported with hundreds of thousands of likes.
