A citizen of Uzbekistan has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing 11 people between 2018 and 2024, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office reported.
According to the statement, the man killed 3 women and 8 men between February 2018 and January 2024, and also attempted several other murders. The suspect did not have a permanent place of residence, and most of his victims were also homeless individuals.
In January 2024, he entered a flower shop in Kyiv posing as a customer, stabbed the saleswoman over 30 times, and fled with her gold jewelry. He was later apprehended.

During the investigation, he admitted to committing several similar crimes. He drank alcohol with his victims and then killed them. The bodies were often found in conditions that made determining the cause of death difficult.
According to prosecutors, he also attempted to kill one more person but failed.
He provided detailed accounts of each victim, hoping that his confessions might reduce his sentence.
The court reviewed all the evidence and found him guilty, sentencing him to the maximum punishment — life imprisonment. He is currently in custody.
