The activities of the separatist extremist organization “Kingdom of Germany” have been banned in the Federal Republic of Germany, and its leader, self-proclaimed monarch Peter Fitzek, has been arrested. Politico reported this, citing German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt.
According to the minister, members of this organization have created their own parallel state on German territory and are engaged in illegal financial transactions. As a result of a special raid conducted by German law enforcement agencies, four key leaders of the organization were detained. Among them is the false monarch Peter Fitzek, who introduced himself as “King Peter I.”
According to Alexander Dobrindt, this group based its claims to power on anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and opposed the country's constitutional order.
According to information, Peter Fitzek founded this organization in 2012, having previously worked as a chef and karate instructor. Today, the “German Kingdom” movement has about 6 thousand supporters, making it the largest group among the Reichsbürger.
The German Reichsbürger movement consists of about 20 thousand members, who do not recognize the legitimacy of the modern Federal Republic of Germany. They consider themselves citizens of the historical “German Reich” and adhere to monarchist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic ideas.
According to experts, such extremist actions are a serious threat to the security of the country. Therefore, the German government constantly monitors the activities of the Reichsbürger and takes tough measures against extremist groups.
Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing, and additional information is expected to be published soon.
