Uzbek snipers were awarded gold medals in Turkey

The military of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan surpassed all its competitors in the V International Competition “The Most Advanced Sniper Team” held in Turkey, taking an honorable 1st place and being awarded a gold medal. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The geography of the competition is wide, the competition is fierce

This prestigious competition, held from May 5 to 16 at the “Commando” mountain training center in Isparta, Turkey, was attended by 48 teams from 15 countries. Among them were Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Italy, the UAE, Kuwait and other countries.

The participants competed in about 15 complex and highly dynamic conditions. The conditions required not only physical fitness, but also accuracy, mental stability and team cohesion.

Discussions based on real combat scenarios

The conditions within the competition included the following:

• high-angle shooting;
  
• gas mask shooting;
  
• shooting from a closed position at unknown distances;
  
• shooting behind various obstacles;
  
• shooting from a helicopter and a boat;
  
• shooting at night and in "surprise" conditions.
  

In addition, highly demanding technical exercises were conducted, such as covering a distance of 5 km with a load and weapons and shooting accurately from cold weapons.

Uzbek team demonstrated its experience and skill

Uzbekistan will participate in this competition for the 4th time. The experience of previous years also paid off - after the silver medal in 2022 and 2023, two gold medals were won in a row in 2024 and 2025.

It should be recalled that in March 2025, the Uzbek military also won the “Most Advanced Warrior-2025” competition in the United States with a record result.
