In Shanghai, China, the country's first modern fitness center specifically designed for dogs—Gogogym—is set to open soon. This center could mark a new era in the pet industry.
According to the South China Morning Post, the facility is organized by Singapore-based company Heal Petcare. The project has been developed with the involvement of specialists focused on animal health and rehabilitation.
The center will feature special dog-friendly treadmills, spa and massage rooms, a rehabilitation area, and a retail store. Additionally, comprehensive training programs and individualized pet care courses will be offered.
The facility's organizers state that the main objectives of the fitness complex include maintaining canine health, preventing obesity and other illnesses, and facilitating recovery processes after injuries.
The pet care market in China has consistently grown year after year. Currently, this market is valued at over $10 billion. Gogogym is seen as one of the innovative approaches to advancing this market.
