Three Uzbek women who worked as prostitutes in Turkey were deported
A large-scale operation was carried out in the Turkish city of Igdir against human trafficking, prostitution and drug-related crimes. Haberler reported this.

As a result of the operation, 107 foreign women, including 3 Uzbek citizens, were detained and deported. These women were forced into prostitution in entertainment establishments in Igdir and lived in the country on the basis of false documents.

Igdir police used thermal imaging cameras in an operation conducted on May 24 in 9 entertainment centers. As part of the operation, 11 people were arrested on charges of prostitution, bribery and human trafficking. Two of them were released, while nine were arrested by court order.

The Igdir regional administration described the operation as one of the largest organized crime operations in the region.

This case once again confirms the importance of international cooperation and strong measures in combating human trafficking and prostitution.
