Amid intensifying developments on the US political stage, supporters of Donald Trump have carried out yet another scandalous move. In a new direction of political pressure and personal harassment, a right-wing organization called the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) published full information about 175 federal officials.
The mentioned list includes not only the names and positions of employees but also their photographs and personal details. AAF accuses them of promoting radical leftist ideas, especially diversity, equality, and inclusion, reported reuters.com.
As a result of these actions, individuals on the list have faced various forms of threats, public pressure, and online harassment. Regrettably, it is emphasized that some were dismissed from their jobs, and two officials, fearing for their safety, were forced to leave the country. This situation was highlighted in an investigation published by Reuters on August 7.
It should be noted that some of the officials on the list did not work under the current Democratic administration but had served during the previous Republican government — meaning their work was bipartisan. However, they too were criticized for their links to “inclusive views.”
At the same time, the American Accountability Foundation is gradually turning from an organization focused on targeting opposition around Joe Biden’s administration into a tool for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign. This shows that political struggle in the US has reached the level of personal threats.
According to the data, more than 88 people from the list have left government service, while others were forced to take administrative leave or resign voluntarily. Some were fired, while others left under threat of dismissal or reassignment.
Such a situation undoubtedly raises serious concerns about the safety and personal rights of public servants. Regardless of political views, mass harassment of officials does not align with American democratic values.
This incident clearly demonstrates how deeply political confrontation has infiltrated personal life. The public is watching with great interest how this process will conclude.
