Anonymous billionaire pays $10 million to descend into the wreckage of the Titanic

According to the New York Post, an anonymous billionaire has decided to dive to the wreck of the Titanic, nearly two years after the tragic Titan submersible incident. He is reportedly willing to pay $10 million for the expedition.

Sources say the dive could take place within the next few weeks. The billionaire's identity remains undisclosed, but insiders claim he is a well-known figure. He wants to be the first person to reach the Titanic wreck after the Titan tragedy.

To recall, in June 2023, the Titan submersible carrying tourists to the Titanic's wreck lost communication 1 hour and 45 minutes after descent. Days later, debris was found, confirming the sub had imploded and all five aboard had died.

Among the victims were British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman, French researcher Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, who piloted the craft.
