Large-scale drills launch in Finland with 1,600 soldiers

Finland has launched international special forces exercises with troops from Europe and the United States, News.ru reported. The drills will run until September 12 and involve around 1,600 soldiers.

The exercises are designed to test NATO’s rapid response measures in Northern Europe. Aircraft deployed include NH90 and MD500 helicopters, F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets, and other air assets from European nations and the U.S.

Earlier, Armenia and the U.S. held their third consecutive Eagle Partner 2025 drills. In July, Georgia and NATO forces also carried out Agile Spirit 2025 exercises involving multiple European countries.
