Gaza turning into ruins
The Israeli army has intensified the demolition of high-rise residential buildings in Gaza City. As a result, hundreds of families have been left homeless. The UN human rights office warned that this could amount to forced displacement of the population.

In the past two weeks, Israeli forces have destroyed nearly twenty tower blocks. Satellite images confirm that some neighborhoods have been completely leveled.

Israeli officials say the strikes target Hamas infrastructure. Hamas, however, denies using high-rise buildings for military purposes.

UN experts warn that deliberate demolitions may violate international law. Gaza residents say they are once again forced to move for safety.
