Texas and California lead in clean energy
The U.S. states of Texas and California have taken the lead in clean energy production. Since the beginning of 2025, output in these two regions has increased by 10% compared to last year.

In California, about 74% of electricity and in Texas 46% comes from solar and wind sources. This rate is much higher than in other states.

Overall, the two states generated more than 10 million megawatt-hours of clean energy. This accounts for one-fifth of the total volume in the United States.

According to experts, Texas and California are also leading in introducing new technologies. Other states risk falling behind in this process.
