The Jerusalem Post magazine updated its traditional list of the "50 Most Influential Jews in the World," published annually. The list includes politicians, businessmen, and cultural figures, among whom unexpectedly appeared Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Mishustin entered this list for the first time, ranking 18th.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took first place in the updated ranking. Netanyahu's successful political career and global influence were deemed worthy of this title.
Second place went to US President's Special Envoy Stephen Whitkoff, while third place went to David Barnea, head of Israeli intelligence Mossad.
White House advisers Stephen Miller and Adam Boehler, US Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnick, and Google co-founder Sergey Brin were also included in the top ten. These people also had a great influence on Jewish society and gained special attention in their fields.
In addition, Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg are in 33rd place, but Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not on the list.
The growth and changes in the list also depend on the vivid reflection of many events and political situations taking place on the global stage.
