A Vnukovo airport employee was forced to pay 655 thousand rubles for illegally using the business lounge through a bank. This was reported by "RIA Novosti" with reference to court documents.
He purchased a special banking package that granted access to airport and railway station business lounges upon presenting a boarding pass or ticket. However, over five months, he visited the lounges 364 times: mostly at Vnukovo, as well as at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Sochi.
During the inspection, it was revealed that the employee shared his access code with other people. In the first instance, the court ordered him to pay only 12.6 thousand rubles, but at the subsequent stages of appeal and cassation, the full amount was collected from him.
The court justified the decision by considering the number of visits, their duration, and the cases when several people used the lounge simultaneously.
