A young woman from Florida became an internet sensation after winning a Mortal Kombat XL eSports tournament while holding her newborn daughter, UPI reported.
The gamer, known by the nickname Legi0n, participated in the tournament held in late September in Orlando and defeated her opponents, including her own husband. The most surprising thing is that she competed just five days after giving birth by cesarean section.
The newborn girl was named Cereza and was born on September 22.
On social media, Legi0n humorously commented on her victory, saying that her daughter “inspired and gave her strength” to win.
The victory earned the gamer a $28 prize and the opportunity to participate in the major gaming festival DreamHack, which will be held in Atlanta.
