American troops arrive in Israel: humanitarian control begins

US troops began arriving in Israel. They monitor compliance with established rules in populated areas. CNN reported this, citing Pentagon sources.

According to reports, some of the soldiers were sent from Middle Eastern countries, while the rest came from other US military commands. A contingent of 200 soldiers is expected to arrive in Israel by October 12th.

At the same time, work is underway to create a special US monitoring center in the Gaza Strip. It may take several days or weeks to fully establish the Center's operations.

According to the Pentagon, the mission's main task is to prevent unrest and ensure the continuous operation of humanitarian organizations.
