Viktor Momotov, a retired judge of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, was ordered to pay a state duty of 3,000 rubles based on a lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the decision of the Ostankino District Court of Moscow.

The court also decided to confiscate 95 real estate objects to state revenue from Momotov's accomplices - entrepreneur Andrey Marchenko and his son Ivan. Among them are buildings belonging to the Marton and Vologda hotels in Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, and Rostov-on-Don.

According to the prosecutor's office, Momotov collaborated with an organized criminal group and criminal individuals, illegally organizing the hotel business and legalizing real estate.

According to the prosecution, they evaded tax payments and caused damage to the state in the amount of about 500 million rubles. Momotov called the charges against him "slander."
