Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for the resumption of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. According to him, with the release of the hostages, Israel must now continue the fight against Hamas even more decisively.
The Israeli army also reported airstrikes on dozens of targets in the Gaza Strip in recent hours. More than 120 rounds of ammunition were used during the attacks.
As a reminder, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas came into force on October 10, 2025. However, on October 19, Israeli troops launched airstrikes on the Rafah area. According to The Times of Israel, these strikes were carried out in response to attacks on Israel.
Following recent events, Israeli officials announced they would resume the ceasefire, but emphasized that any aggression or breach of agreement would be met with a decisive response.
