According to the information, as a result of the earthquake, power transmission lines supplying electricity from Uzbekistan were damaged and, as a result, a number of cities were left without electricity. Responsible authorities immediately began restoration work to eliminate the outages.

It should be noted that the power lines passing through Tajikistan were also damaged, but they have already been repaired and put back into operation. In recent years, Afghanistan has been actively purchasing electricity from Central Asian countries.
