In Kazakhstan, Mellstroy, who has caused major buzz among well-known internet personalities, is once again in the spotlight. According to the Financial Monitoring Agency, Belarusian citizen Andrey Burim has been officially declared wanted. Local media reported this referring to the state statistics portal.
According to the information, the search was registered on November 15 in Astana. Investigations are being conducted by the city department of economic investigations of the agency. However, no official information has yet been provided about the reason why Mellstroy is being sought — which further increases public interest in the situation.
Problems surrounding Burim have been steadily growing over the past few years. In early 2024, he was also placed on the wanted list in Russia. In his homeland Belarus, a criminal case was opened against him for evading military service.
Additionally, in early November 2025, Belarusian authorities declared all channels, symbols, and logos belonging to Mellstroy extremist. According to investigators, the blogger had encouraged people online to record illegal actions on video and offered rewards for this. They claim that such calls led to incidents of hooliganism and public disorder recorded in the country in the autumn of the previous year.
Mellstroy has been known for years for verbal scandals, loud videos, and a tendency toward provocative behavior. In pursuit of viewer donations, he has at times created extremely risky content. One of his most well-known incidents remains the 2020 livestream in which he was forced to apologize to model Alena Efremova and pay compensation.
Although official authorities have not yet disclosed the exact reasons for the search, the situation around Mellstroy has once again reached a heated point. Online discussions about the incident continue actively.
