Sadir Japarov responded to rumors about a change of power

There is no reason to change power in the Kyrgyz Republic by force. This was stated by the head of state Sadyr Japarov during an interview with representatives of the state news agency "Kabar".

The president gave a clear response to rumors and various speculations: "There will be no coup or anything like that. Firstly, the law does not provide for this, and secondly, such a situation does not exist," he said.

These statements were not made without context. It is worth recalling that on February 10, Sadyr Japarov dismissed Kamchibek Tashiev, who was considered his long-time close associate, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security.

After that, the political scene in Bishkek began to shake: the speaker of parliament, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, resigned, and there were changes in some positions.

In short, there is a significant personnel turnover, but Japarov's position is clear: there is no "ground" for dramatic scenarios in the country. Now the main intrigue is how the system will reassemble after these changes and how it will maintain political stability.
