The US called on Russia not to provide intelligence on its military facilities in the Middle East

US Special Representative Steve Whitkoff urged Russia not to provide Iran with intelligence on American military facilities in the Middle East. He announced this during a conversation with journalists aboard President Donald Trump's plane.
According to Whitkoff, even if Moscow is providing some kind of assistance to Tehran, it seems to be yielding no tangible results. He cited the events of the last week as an example, emphasizing that although Iran is receiving information, it is not seeing any practical benefit from this.
Donald Trump, reacting to Russia's possible role in the conflict, said that the US has already disrupted Iran's military capabilities. According to him, any information that could be transmitted to Tehran is no longer of great importance.
Earlier, CNN, citing its sources, reported that Russia was providing information to Iran about US military facilities in the Middle East. It was against this backdrop that Washington's statements once again brought to the agenda the question of possible cooperation between Moscow and Tehran.
