Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov revealed some details of the conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. According to him, the Russian leader conveyed his proposals to the US President to mitigate the crisis surrounding Iran and resolve it through political means.

According to Peskov, Trump did not ask Putin to resolve the Ukraine conflict during the conversation. At the same time, the Kremlin representative emphasized the need to maintain the format of trilateral negotiations on the Ukrainian issue. In his opinion, everyone is interested in the speedy resolution of this conflict.

At the same time, it is not yet clear when and where the next trilateral talks on Ukraine will take place. Peskov stated that a final agreement has not yet been reached.

The Kremlin representative also noted that Russia is ready to help reduce tensions in the Middle East. However, it is emphasized that coordination with many parties is necessary to achieve results in this direction.

Also, Peskov said that during the conversation between Putin and Trump, the topic of US sanctions against Russian oil was not discussed in detail. Earlier, Donald Trump said that the conversation was held in a good mood, and Putin expressed his readiness to help resolve the situation in the Middle East.
