Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that the new defense cooperation between Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo could be directed against Serbia.
He noted that on March 18, 2025, a trilateral declaration on cooperation in the defense sphere was signed between these three countries in Tirana, Albania. Vučić believes this document is aimed at strengthening military ties and forming an alliance against Serbia.
The Serbian president made a sharp statement on this matter, stating that these countries had formed an alliance to attack Serbia. In his opinion, they expect an escalation of tensions between Russia and Europe and a situation where a broader war could break out in the Middle East.
According to Vucic, at a time of growing global instability, some countries are waiting for a favorable opportunity to implement their military plans.
The Serbian leader also noted that Croatia has been trying to undermine Serbia's stability and interfere in its internal affairs for the past year and a half.
At the same time, Vucic added that Belgrade continues its policy of military neutrality, but maintains good relations with NATO.
