The renowned American political scientist and author of the "End of History" theory, Francis Fukuyama, criticized the current political course of the United States.
In his opinion, his policy is sometimes characterized by ill-conceived and dangerous decisions. The political scientist expressed this situation through a peculiar analogy.
"The United States seems to be being ruled by a ten-year-old child. He seems to enjoy finding a lighter in his yard and burning everything around him. Someone needs to stop him," said Fukuyama.
The expert emphasized that such an approach could exacerbate tensions in international relations and lead to further escalation of various conflicts. Such actions of a state with great influence, especially on the global political stage, affect the security of the whole world.
According to Fukuyama, it is very important to make responsible and well-thought-out decisions in the international arena. Otherwise, such a policy can cause not only regional, but also global problems.
