The Middle East tourism industry is losing $600 million a day

According to the World Tourism Council (WTTC), recent conflicts have led to a sharp decline in the flow of tourists to the Middle East. The tourism industry is experiencing significant financial losses every day.
Before the conflict, 14% of transit flights and 5% of total tourists were directed to Middle Eastern countries. Also, each tourist spent an average of 2000 dollars.
Currently, all these indicators are practically absent, and the regional tourism sector is suffering losses of $600 million per day. This situation has a significant impact on the economy and jobs.
