US President Donald Trump's support rating dropped sharply against the backdrop of the Middle East conflict, falling to a record 36%. This figure was 47 percent in the first months of Trump's return to the presidency and 40 percent before the conflict in the Middle East began.
According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, only 25% of Americans supported Trump's price control policy, while only 29% of Americans supported the White House leader on economic issues. At the same time, 61% of the population believes that the US military actions with Iran were incorrect.
63% of the population assessed the US economic situation as "weak." According to experts, the main reasons for the decline in the rating are conflicts with Iran and an increase in gasoline and living expenses.
Importantly, Trump promised to "avoid new wars" during his election campaign. However, the conflict with Iran and rising oil prices are putting significant pressure on his political position.
