During his speech at the "Future Investment Initiative" conference, US President Donald Trump mistakenly called the Strait of Hormuz the "Trump Strait."
During his speech, he said, "We are currently in negotiations, and it would be good to achieve a result, but for this, they need to open the Trump Strait. What I wanted to say was Hormuz. Forgive me, I'm very sorry, what a terrible mistake."
The White House chief also added: "Fake news calls this a coincidence. But I have almost no coincidences," he continued.
Through this, Trump acknowledged the mistake and approached the situation jokingly, but these rumors quickly spread on social media.
