Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed satisfaction with the temporary truce established between the US and Iran.
Erdogan published these thoughts on his personal social media page. In his speech, he welcomed the ceasefire declared in the conflict last night, noting that such an agreement is of great importance against the backdrop of military actions in the region that have been ongoing since February 28.
The Turkish leader stated that he expects full compliance with the terms of the armistice and that no provocations or sabotage will be permitted. He also sincerely congratulated all countries that contributed to the agreement, especially friendly and brotherly Pakistan.
Erdogan expressed hope for the soonest restoration of stability, tranquility, and peace in the region.
