Russia and Uzbekistan are poised for a significant expansion of their economic ties, with bilateral trade turnover expected to reach $14 billion by 2026. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov announced this projection at the Innoprom Central Asia exhibition in Tashkent, noting a 22% increase from current levels. This follows a strong performance, with trade already exceeding $11.5 billion by the end of 2025. Joint projects in industry, energy, transport, and logistics are identified as key drivers for this sustained growth.

Economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan is reaching a new level. According to data from the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Denis Manturov, the trade turnover between the two countries is projected to increase by 22% and reach $14 billion by 2026.

He announced this at the sixth International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom Central Asia" in Tashkent.

According to official statistics, by the end of 2025, the volume of bilateral trade grew by more than 12%, reaching $11.5 billion. Officials note that these indicators testify to the steady development of cooperation.

Manturov noted that the current positive dynamics allow for the achievement of the $14 billion target by the end of 2026. According to him, joint projects in industry, energy, transport, logistics, and the agro-industrial complex make a significant contribution to these results.

The active work on expanding industrial cooperation, strengthening supply chains, and searching for new areas of cooperation was also noted.
