Trump's latest warning: Will talks with Iran continue?

The tense situation in the Middle East has reached a critical point. With only hours left until the end of the two-week temporary truce announced amid US and Israeli military actions against Iran, diplomatic efforts have once again intensified. Zamin.uz presents the latest details of this conflict that is in the world's spotlight.
The Washington delegation has departed
The next round of talks between the United States and Iran is expected to be hosted by Pakistan. According to US President Donald Trump, the negotiating team led by Vice President J.D. Vance has already set off for Islamabad.
Trump emphasized that a new agreement that could be signed with Tehran would be much more effective and 'qualitative' than the 2015 international deal. However, the White House head openly stated that the possibility of extending the truce is almost nil.
Tehran's doubt: Diplomacy or pressure?
While the US side expresses readiness for negotiations, Iranian officials have not yet made a final decision on participating in the meeting in Islamabad. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqai accused Washington of violating the truce regime and taking a superficial approach to the diplomatic process.
"We have no plans for a second round of negotiations, but this issue has not been definitively resolved yet," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqai.
According to the Iranian side:
The US attacked an Iranian cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, violating the terms of the agreement;
The blockade of Iranian ports by sea continues;
The first negotiations held on April 11-12 ended unsuccessfully due to the US's 'excessive demands'.
Trump's sharp ultimatum: 'Bridges and stations are targets'
The US president warned of dire consequences if Iran does not accept the proposed 'fair and reasonable' agreement. According to him, without a new agreement, the truce will be terminated, and the US is prepared to disable Iran's entire energy system and transport infrastructure, including every power station and bridge.
"I hope they accept this offer, otherwise the US will disable every power station and every bridge in Iran," Trump said.
Dear readers, in your opinion, can the negotiations in Pakistan stop a new wave of war? Will Trump's sharp threats force Tehran to yield, or will the situation become even more complicated?
