The US is demanding that Iran suspend the uranium enrichment process for a period of 20 years.

It is reported that Washington is also asking Tehran to remove its existing stockpiles of enriched nuclear material. Furthermore, the US administration has demanded the dismantling of nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow.
In addition, it is proposed to impose restrictions on underground work within the framework of Iran's nuclear program. According to reports, the issue of expanding international inspection mechanisms is also being discussed.
Previously, CNN reported that the US and Iran were discussing a moratorium on uranium enrichment for more than a decade. According to Axios, the two countries are nearing a memorandum agreement to end the armed conflict.
Reports state that the US is expecting a response from Iran within 48 hours. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the proposals are still under review.
