Zelenskyy states meeting with Putin will not be in Moscow but in another country

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his readiness to hold negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but stated that such a meeting would not take place in Moscow. This was announced by Serhiy Leshchenko, an advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine.

He emphasized that Kyiv considers Moscow the "capital of an aggressor state" and therefore does not accept this format. At the same time, Zelenskyy did not rule out the possibility of holding a meeting in another territory.

Previously, Kremlin representatives had stated that Putin was ready to hold negotiations in Moscow. Presidential aide Yury Ushakov said that if Ukraine wishes, Moscow is ready to create the conditions for talks.

In recent days, various speculations have also spread following the visit of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to Moscow. However, the Kremlin denied reports that any "special message" had been received from the Ukrainian leadership.
