US Declassifies Information Regarding Aliens

The US Department of Defense has begun the process of officially releasing documents on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Agency officials believe the public can now draw independent conclusions about "unidentified anomalous phenomena." This was reported by AP News.
The Pentagon posted on X on May 8, stating that previous administrations had attempted to mislead the American public, but President Donald Trump is focused on ensuring maximum transparency.
This project is supported by the White House, the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Energy, NASA, and the FBI, alongside the Pentagon.
The new website hosting the documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena is designed in a retro style. It features black-and-white images of flying objects and statements in typewriter font. The initial release includes 162 documents, including old State Department reports, FBI files, and transcripts of NASA space flights.
Among the documents is an FBI interview with a drone pilot who reported observing a "linear object" in the sky in September 2023. The light was so bright that even layers inside the object were visible. The object was visible for 5-10 seconds before disappearing.
Another document contains a photograph from NASA's 1972 Apollo 17 mission, showing three triangular dots. According to the Pentagon, there is no consensus on this anomaly yet, but initial analysis suggests it could be a physical object.
Trump had been hinting at the announcements since February. He has also declassified documents related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., though those documents contained little new information.
The Pentagon has been working on declassifying UAP-related documents for years. In 2022, Congress established a special office, and a 2024 report revealed hundreds of new incidents. However, there is no confirmation that the US government has seen alien technology or has evidence of their existence.
Experts note that people unfamiliar with advanced military technology often misinterpret such videos. The 2024 Pentagon report also noted that there is no evidence of alien technology or life.
