Production of the updated Valday 45 Pro heavy-duty truck has started at the “Nizhegorodskie gruzovie avtomobili” plant. This model is the result of a deep modernization of the first version, improved based on the requirements and feedback of transport companies. This was reported by Ixbt.com .
The main technical change in the vehicle is in its powertrain: the engine power has now been increased to 490 hp. The transmission has also been revised, with the final drive ratio reduced to 2.714. This change is expected to significantly increase efficiency during highway driving.
The new Valday 45 Pro now features a total fuel tank capacity of up to 1040 liters, allowing for long-distance travel without stops. Externally, full LED optics and updated exterior elements are noticeable. Inside the cabin, a new dashboard, an improved multimedia system, and smartphone connectivity have been added.
Safety systems include emergency braking, hill start assist, and driver monitoring systems. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with surround-view cameras to facilitate maneuvering.
The production process of the Valday 45 Pro is carried out in a full cycle, including welding, painting, and assembly. The truck is equipped with many locally produced components, such as telematics systems, tires, batteries, autonomous heaters, and glass.
