New Suzuki Hustler presented in Suzuki Jimny style

Suzuki has unveiled an updated version of its popular Hustler kei car for the Japanese market. This restyling, arriving 6.5 years after the second-generation debut, gives the model a rugged look reminiscent of the legendary Suzuki Jimny off-roader. Updates mainly concern design, color palette, technical equipment, and chassis settings. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The exterior features an enlarged radiator grille and a new air intake in the lower part of the bumper. The Tough Wild version stands out with its unpainted plastic elements and metallic accents. The Suzuki lettering on the radiator grille of this modification stylistically recalls the Jimny model. Inside, the cabin features new trim colors and an electronic parking brake as standard.
Safety systems have been significantly expanded. Now all versions are equipped with the Dual Sensor Brake Support II suite, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and a blind-spot monitoring system. Engineers have also recalibrated the steering mechanism for improved handling.
The technical part remains unchanged: under the hood is a "mild" hybrid system based on a 660cc three-cylinder engine. The naturally aspirated engine produces 48 hp, while the turbocharged version offers 63 hp. A CVT is used as the transmission, and customers can choose between front-wheel or all-wheel drive (4WD) variants.
In Japan, the price of the updated Suzuki Hustler starts at 1,599,400 yen (approximately $10,500) for the Hybrid G 2WD model. The top-of-the-line Hybrid X Turbo 4WD trim is priced at 1,971,200 yen (approximately $13,000). The company plans to sell 7,000 units per month, with total sales of the model already exceeding 1 million units.
