
Hollywood icon Harrison Ford has been nominated for an Emmy Award for the first time in his career spanning over 50 years, Variety reported.
The 83-year-old actor earned a nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” for his role as Paul Rudd in Apple TV’s Shrinking. Ford’s character is a senior therapist at a cognitive behavioral therapy center and a colleague of the main character played by Jason Segel.
With this nomination, Ford becomes the second-oldest nominee in this category. In 2020, 86-year-old Alan Arkin won the same award for The Kominsky Method.
The 77th Emmy Awards will take place on September 14, 2025, in Los Angeles. Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the ceremony.
