Famous singer and actress Selena Gomez recently shared her dream of motherhood on her blog. The topic became relevant again due to events in the new episode of Wizards of Waverly Place, which is currently being reshot.
On her private social media page, Selena posted shots of her character, Alex Russo, portrayed as a mother, and captioned them:
“I hope that one day I will become a mother too,” she wrote.
In one of her previous interviews, Gomez admitted that due to serious health issues, she cannot have a biological child. She told Vanity Fair:
“I’ve never told anyone this before, but unfortunately, I can’t carry my own child. Some of my health problems could endanger both my life and the baby’s life. This has troubled me for a long time.”
Nevertheless, Selena emphasized that she has not lost her desire to become a mother. According to her, in the future she may use the services of a surrogate mother or adopt a child.
It is known that Selena Gomez is now married to producer Benny Blanco. They announced their marriage on December 12, 2024, and the wedding took place on September 28 in California. The ceremony stood out for its simplicity and sincerity, and many famous guests attended it.
