Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted that among all his roles, he wanted to review only one. Recently, his dream came true - the actor participated in the premiere of the remake of the famous 1987 action film "The Running Man".
According to the New York Post, the 78-year-old "Terminator" star met director Edgar Wright and actor Glen Powell at the premiere, revealing that the film had always been special to him. "The only film I wanted to review was Running Man," Schwarzenegger shared. "So, this film really elevated him, and it did exactly that. The militancy was wonderful and creative."
Wright also didn't hide his admiration for the actor. "Passing the sticks between running people." "Thank you, Mr. Schwarzenegger, for being so kind and generous to our production," the director wrote on social media, thanking the star's support and the film crew for a special gift.
As a reminder, the original film, directed by Paul Michael Glazer under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, based on Stephen King's novel, tells the story of former police captain Ben Richards, who is accused of a crime and forced to appear in a deadly show. Now Glen Powell will play the lead role in the remake.
