According to preliminary information, a dispute that broke out among young people on April 12 quickly escalated into a mass physical confrontation. Consequently, more than 10 men attacked the young man with knives, inflicting severe injuries. The victim died at the scene due to the injuries sustained.
The relatives of the deceased characterized the incident as a premeditated group attack and expressed dissatisfaction with the measures being taken regarding the case. They emphasized that despite the existence of video recordings and numerous witnesses, only one individual has been taken into custody so far.
Law enforcement agencies have initiated two criminal cases regarding the situation. During operational measures, a 20-year-old primary suspect was detained, while three other individuals face charges of hooliganism. Two of them have been placed under house arrest by court order.
