Binance CEO Richard Teng predicts that 2025 will be a turning point for the cryptocurrency market. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Teng expressed optimism about the future of digital assets, citing expected regulatory changes in the U.S. under Donald Trump’s administration as a major factor.
Teng noted a growing positive sentiment towards cryptocurrencies, even among Davos attendees. He emphasized that the anticipated improvements would stem not only from the president’s stance but also from the broader attitude of U.S. legislators. Teng highlighted the importance of appointing Paul Atkins and Brian Quintenz to key positions in the SEC and CFTC, which could pave the way for a clearer regulatory framework for digital assets.
Teng’s predictions are supported by other market players. Analysts at Bitwise have estimated Bitcoin’s potential “fair value” at $219,000. Experts believe the new regulatory environment will create favorable conditions for the development of token issuance, trading, and digital asset management.
