In the first half of 2025, Uzbekistan showed a significant increase in demand for ice cream and ice cream products. According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, between January and June, the country imported ice cream worth 9.4 million dollars from 13 foreign countries. This is an increase of 440 tons compared to the same period in 2024.

Russia leads the list of countries supplying ice cream to Uzbekistan. With 828 tons, Russia is in first place, followed by Kazakhstan and China. Kazakhstan exported 648 tons of ice cream, and China sent 187 tons. Belarus delivered 73 tons, and France sent 33 tons of ice cream.

Additionally, 55 tons of ice cream were imported from other countries. The increase in ice cream imports is associated with changes in Uzbekistan's consumer culture and international trade, opening up opportunities for new products and markets.

Currently, the interest in ice cream and its products has increased among consumers in various countries, which also creates opportunities for expanding Uzbekistan's economic ties in this sector.
