Uzbekistan increases date palm imports by 4.9 thousand tons

From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan imported 12.6 thousand tons of dates from 17 countries. The total value reached 9 million USD (approximately 113 billion UZS).

According to the State Statistics Committee, this is 4.9 thousand tons more than the same period last year. The main exporters were Iran, Tunisia, and Turkey.

Top suppliers included: Iran – 9.8k tons, Tunisia – 810 tons, Turkey – 396 tons. Dates remain in high demand during Ramadan and festive seasons.
