In Uzbekistan, news has been announced that has caused great interest among the heads of schools and kindergartens. According to the presidential decree adopted in March this year, the salaries of school and kindergarten leaders will be significantly increased.
According to the decree, from September 1, 2025, the basic tariff rate for the position of school director will be raised by 20 percent. In addition, the position of deputy school director has also been taken into account, and its basic tariff rate will be increased by 15 percent. This will provide leaders with stable financial support and motivation.
At the same time, the positions of kindergarten directors in groups I and II are also not overlooked. Their basic tariff rates will be equated to those of deputy school directors in groups III and IV, that is, increased, which also encourages their labor efficiency and responsibility.
Furthermore, from January 1, 2026, additional bonuses for directors and their deputies will be provided from school fund resources. These bonuses will be determined based on the performance indicators (KPI) and will amount to 20 percent for directors and 10 percent for deputies. This is aimed at increasing the responsibility of leaders, promoting effective work, and contributing to the development of schools.
