Uzbek dried products are now heading to Iraqi markets

Another step has been taken in the direction of exporting agricultural products from Uzbekistan abroad. An online meeting was held between Nassar Trading Agro, based in the Payarik district of Samarkand region, and Kuwait’s Sky Logistics Gen. Trading & Contracting Co.. The meeting was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

During the discussion, information was provided on the reforms being carried out in the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions created for exporting companies, and the incentives offered to foreign importers.

The main focus was placed on the opportunities for supplying dried fruits and vegetables to the markets of Kuwait and Iraq. For this purpose, issues related to modern packaging systems, logistics routes, and transport services were discussed.

In addition, proposals were considered for organizing showrooms in Kuwait to promote Uzbek products more widely, as well as opening trade houses.

According to specialists, this agreement will be an important step not only in increasing export volumes but also in bringing Uzbek dried products to new markets.
