According to the Tax Committee, in January-August 2025, cashback in the amount of 906.6 billion soums was paid to the population for a total of 976.1 thousand purchase receipts. This figure shows how popular the program is at the national level.
According to calculations, more than 5.9 million citizens used cashback opportunities through purchase receipts. The largest amount of refunds came from the capital, Tashkent - city consumers received more than 373.7 billion soums in cashback.
The Committee also paid special attention to the results of August. In the past month alone, more than 99.8 billion soums in cashback were returned to the population through more than 121.8 million purchase receipts.
In terms of regions, the largest share in August also fell on the capital - 41.8 billion soums. Residents of Tashkent region (8.2 billion soums), Fergana region (7.1 billion soums), Samarkand region (6.9 billion soums), and Namangan region (5.2 billion soums) also received significant returns.
It should be recalled that the committee previously disclosed the final indicators for 2024. Last year, citizens received over 1 trillion soums in cashback through more than 1 billion checks nationwide. The largest part of these funds also fell on the residents of the capital - 412.2 billion soums.
These indicators show that the program is expanding and becoming widely popular among buyers. As an additional incentive for consumers, the cashback system not only increases sales, but also shapes the culture of the population demanding legal receipts.
